Mike Edison在2011年出版的那本給Hugh Hefner立傳的《Dirty!Dirty!Dirty!》提到過這麽一個細節，是這麽説的：

  I'll tell you now—this part of the story is going to end pathetically, with Hef cast as a creepy cartoon parody of himself on a tepid reality show, wearing the same tired old kayfabe PJs and paying his brace of intellectually challenged, surgically enhanced “girlfriends” two grand a week to play make-believe in front of the cameras and babysit him on “sex nights,” usually Wednesdays and Fridays, when they take turns fucking him while he gobbles Viagra and watches gay porn to keep his dick hard.
