【小冲浪说】地球 * 智商100

这一天，老大我去课后班那里，接到了小冲浪。。。

刚上车，我们都还在系安全带，。。。

小冲浪就很开心地跟老大我说，“I know two reasons why people don't feel the earth is a sphere.”

“OK.”老大我回应，听他继续说。。。

“First, the earth's surface only curves slightly so that people don't feel the ground is curving.”他说。

“Good.”我们俩都系好了安全带，老大我一边启动了车，一边补充说，“That's because the earth's radius or diameter is _huge_.”

“Second, when people look far at the horizon, they can't see a circle.”他又说。

“Well, we live in a valley.”老大我说，“When we look around, we can see the mountains and their mountain tops dominate the skyline. What do people see on a boat in the sea or ocean?”

“People cannot see that far. They will need telescopes to see far.”小冲浪想了想，说。

“OK.”老大我说，一边开车，一边心想，也许是时候该带他去坐船出海了？

“Dad,”在车上过了一会儿，小冲浪又很开心地跟老大我说，“I'm smart, right？”

“Yeah.”老大我给了一个肯定的回答，淡市，没有太热烈响应，有点担心小盆友翘尾巴。。。

“I knew you'd agree!”小冲浪很兴奋地说，“I think my IQ is 100!”

“You think the IQ of 100 means very smart?”老大我忍住笑，问他。。。

“Of course!”小冲浪自信的话音很有感染力。。。

老大我忍住笑，没有再说什么。。。

或许，他以为老大我被他说服了吧，他也没有再说什么。。。
