layoff, layoff

Okay,yes I heard of a lot of layoffs on toplines,but never expected it hit me.
It's a tough situation for a family with kids to deal with a loss of income. It's hard on our young kids' part too, because they are too little to comprehend what's going on. I have been there before(in 2002), it was hard, but it's not nearly as hard when you are parents.
So I am calling upon people on this board, sharing your stories on how you dealt with this difficult time...and especially those sucessfully got out of the woods, please share your sucess and happiness.
I am hoping with the community support from the board, we can get through this together with hope and spirit.
