今天--经历公司裁员

话说今天早上,一切看似如常...大约9:30 左右..和我closely work 的一个在公司5 年的女的被叫到办公室..然后大家议论纷纷:"is that something bad gonna happen?" , 等她回到自己座位..她明显抑制自己的情绪尽力保持平静的语调对我说:"xxx, i am leaving for the day..we'll keep in touch" ...我一下呆了..再怎么样也没想到她会被layoff..在很多人眼里她是兼备技术和管理才能,,对人也非常之nice...这时另一个manager问我是不是她被layoff 了..我说是的..她先是诧异得有点speechless 的感觉..然后愤愤的来了一句:"xx shit!"...后来才知道她自己也是被雷的名单之一..
整个一上午大家惶恐不安...最后被告之..我们部门已结束..共砍掉8人..接下来是别的部门...整个公司这次预备砍掉20%雇员..而且这一轮今天结束..估计大约3 ,4 月份还会有第二波..
然后 , 就是没完没了的开会..manager 说:" i want to give you all guys an arousing speech but i can't...i was just told this morning people in this department will be laid off during this week..but i don't know who...what can make you feel better is probably thinking this way...what would you do if next time it hits you ..do you have enough preparation for that?"

最后他略带讽刺地说了句:"...well..that's all for today ..have a great day!" 大家都苦笑..

i feel sad all through the day and have such a headache ....i guess i will feel better tomorrow..hope so
