My boss is a very careful person.

He does not say anything that he is not sure of. Things like that, he must have already communicated with big boss. That is why he postponed our talk for a day for him to align with big boss. The words coming from his mouth were more like from big boss, even the wording. He only squeezed in a few pleading sentenses, like " I don't how we can make the transition".  I am sure this is from my own boss.
