It will go through Palestan authority's area, yes.

Jordan Bridge is NOT near Dead Sea. It is in the north
to the Dead Sea.

it takes about one hour from Amman to Jerusalem by bus.
But if taking into account the border crossing procedure,
it will takes longer. It depends on the situation, hard to
say exactly how long.
