TAX ON LEAP SPY CALL

请问，去年底买了 2025 一月的 LEAP SPY call @500， 如果处理， TAX 最优？

1. exercise it？我是交短期还是长期的CAPITAL GAIN？ 

2. Sell the leap call for Long term capital gain?  

any TAX difference for these two treatments?
