帖子内容也许有点长，但是希望把所有背景交代清楚诚请8老师解惑：

我准备为父母申请绿卡，材料齐全，有我的出生证明，我和父母的亲属关系证明，上面都清楚列着父母双方的名字以及和我的母子、父子关系。父母曾经离过一次婚后又复婚，有离婚证和第二次的结婚证但是没有带到美国也没有公证。当时父母不想在申请中写离婚又复婚的事情，但又无法提供第一次结婚时的结婚证，所以找到了一份档案里的当年的结婚申请书并在公证处做了公证。结婚申请书的英文翻译是Marriage application，里面有“we get a marriage voluntarily, and conform to the marriage registration of XXXXX and the marriage certificate is issued”这样的话并且上面也写了结婚证号。请问8老师：

1）这样的一份公证可以作为结婚证明吗？

-Is there a official stamp or signature from the Civil Department of the local Government in that 结婚申请书? If no, it may not be used as the marrige certificate. But if you do not have a choice, may just provide it now. The 结婚申请书 (or marriage certificate) must have the marrige date on it which is very important to prove that you were born after your parents got married.

2）如果可以作为结婚证明提交，是不是130和485的婚姻记录上就可以不写离婚又复婚的事？第一第二任配偶是同一个人，还挺容易让人confused的。

-If you have all the documents in hand, just proivde the actual marriage history (married, divorced, re-mairred) in I-130 and I-485. Then, provide the copies of the documents.

3）如果这份公证不足够的话，可能会让补什么材料来进一步证明父母的婚姻关系呢？

-If USCIS do not accept 结婚申请书, they will ask you to provide a new one later. Then, you may ask 当地派处所或民政部门出个证明，then do the 公证.

如果到时候就说结婚证丢失实在没法提供其他的证明了，直接和父亲做亲子关系鉴定可不可以？

-No. Your birth certificate has proved the blood relationship between you and your father. USCIS need your parents' certificate just to prove that you were born after they got married. Thus, your father does not need to prove that he supported you (e.g., living fee, tuition, etc.) before you became adult.

我的理解是母亲不需要做亲子关系鉴定。
