1. 如果申请了OPT，那这个暑假就可以用OPT合法在美国了，对吗？

-Do nothing. Just get the I-20 from the new school and ask the old school to do the F-1 transfer. The child can legally stay in US for up to 5 months on the gap during school change after he/she get the I-20 from the new school.

Talk to the International Student Offices in both schools and they will handle it.

2. 在OPT期间，可以转换成新学校的F1吗？多谢
