最近请州议员查询后得到以下回复：

Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding this constituent’s immigration matter.  U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records confirm that your constituent’s case is pending background check clearance. 

 

请问8老师是否知道一般来说，背景调查需要多长时间?

-Case by case, some may take a couple of years (though it is rare)..
