回复：请帮忙分析一下，美国公民的父母探亲的问题，怎样准备能提高成功率。

第一次给我妈申请来美国探亲，父亲多年前就去世了。
上网查了需要的文件，仍然有不懂得地方，尤其对她能否拿到签证信心不足。
1. 我母亲需要提供她的存款证明吗？
-Not necessary,  but had better prepare/provide it and also provide the 房产证明, etc. to prove her connection to China.

听说存款要在银行呆半年以上才行。问题是她的存款不多，但有自住的房产。她出国和在美国的开支由我们负担。她需要借钱存在她的户头一段时间吗？
-Not need to deposit new money there because you will provide the costs for her travel.

要多少钱才算够？
2. 我们这面可以提供财产证明。我们在银行的存款也不多，大概一万。要多少才算够？可以用退休账户的钱吗？
-If you or your spouse has job, then provide the salary income in Form I-134. Thus, the deposit amount is not important. Because B2 visa is for temporary visit (not immigration), the cost is not that much. Thus, the VO normally is not very strict on your financial support. 

3. 我有两个哥哥在国内，这个应该是对我母亲有利的因素。她也无意留在美国，最多住半年，就是来看看我们，在附近玩玩。
4. 我不工作，需要提供我先生的工资单吗？
-Yes. You and your spouse may together invite your mother to visit you and he can fill/sign the I-134. 
5. 如果提供我先生的工资单，因为邀请的是我妈，是不是还要提供我们两个的结婚证明？
-May provide the photocopy, just in case.
我们的结婚证是中国的，是不是我们还得翻译成英文并公证？
-Not need it. The VO knows Chinese well.
6. 我跟先生入籍后，没有申请美国护照，且无意申请。网上的资料说要邀请人的护照，我们可以用别的东西代替吗？比如我们的公民纸+驾照。
-The photocopy of your 公民纸 is much enough.
