再次感谢老师回复。我的140和485里面都填过婚姻状况了，看来是他们弄错了。
另外一个问题，我需要在cover letter里面强调一下引用的关于following-to-join的法律条文吗？如果需要应该去哪里找？
-Just explain/justify your spouse meets the requirement of Part 2 Application Type" b. My spouse or parent applied for adjustment of status ......"  because you got your green card through employment-based immigration, and also you and your spouse marriage occurred before your I-485 was approved and the marriage still exists currently. Also enclose a copy of your I-140 approval notice, copy of your I-485 approval notice and copy of your green card (both sides).
