父母探亲滞留对我的绿卡申请有影响么？

我正准备申请EB1或NIW的绿卡，父母最近延期悲剧，加上他们年纪也大，不想折腾来折腾去，打算留下来一年后回国，以后也不想再来美国。不知道会对我的绿卡申请有多大影响？谢谢各位前辈指导。
