questions regarding I-485

We submitted our I-485 in August, 2003 at VSC. Although we moved several times during this period, we moved back to VSC and updated our address in January, 2005. After then, we were asked to submit additional information in March, 2005 and they received them in April, 2005. But up to date, there is no further process for our cases.

One crucial puzzle, we have never received the FP notices (maybe they were lost because our move). Does it mean that we can only keep waiting and hoping?
The processing date at VSC is August 12, 2004 now!

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
