Beijing and come back with a H-1 visa?
I came to US more than 3 years ago with a J-1 visa. After waiver, I got my H1 status here last August (2002). I want to visit my family next feb or mar. So is it a good idea to go to beijing embassy to get the visa or go to Canada to get the visa first is better? I keep working for the same medical research institute the all time. So is there big chance for me to be checked for the background? Thanks a lot. Really want to go home.
