What's I130 for?

Hei, I will file 485 for my wife who married me after I submitted my 485. I look at the website of USCIS, they said the family-based application may need to file form I130 Petition for Alien Relatives, but in the instruction of 485 nothing about I130 was mentioned. So do I need file 130 for her? What's the 130 for? Thanks.
