I485 transfer

Did anyone have experience to switch I1485 from the pending I140 to approved I140, which was filed one month after pending I 140? Some people said (in this forum) that he filed the transfer in last December, and no any reply from CIS yet. Therefore, I donot know if the transfer is allowed. If it is allowed, how long does it usually take? I am not sure if I need to withdraw my I140/I485 and refile I-485. I appreciate your kind input to share your experience.
