can I get credit for reviewing简介

Can I get credit for reviewing papers on behalf of my advisor? If so, how should I contact the associate editor for a proof letter? Do I want a personal letter from the associate editor? or from the journal /conference? Does email work?

I am trying to collect materials for NIW application. Thank you very much for your attention!
