The company has about 100

employees. And this is the first time that the company hired foreigners. They don't understand the rules at all. It's hard to convince them that this is really urgent.

My question is if I never get paid from the company, can I still be considered F2, which is my former status before changing to H1?

Please help if you have any thoughts on my situation.
