2nd request of fingerprint

We did our first finger prints 11/26/2004. We just received another notice yesterday requesting finger prints 6/24/2005. I heard finger print should be valid for 15 months. Does anyone know that why we are requested the second one within 7 months? Has anyone had the similar experience before? Is it good news or bad news?

The CIS on-line status is not even updated with our first finger print. We called and wrote a letter to inquire of a reason, but got no response.

Any comment is appreciated. Thanks!
