Got I 485 approval notice dated on 5/10/05.The notice told me the case is approved. The alien residence card will be mailed to me within 120 days. Nothing else. Since we are going to travel to China this month, we made an appointment with local uscis office in Detroit using Infopass. At the office, they won't stamp my passport as the notice didn't say so. We said we needed to travel, then they said they will only stamp the passport if there is an emergency that requires me to travel, and we need to show the proof of the emergency. That is the whole story. My case was handled at Nebreska center.
