Canada landing

I appreciate if someone can help me figure out the following issues about Canada landing:

1. On my landing paper, the destination of landing is specified as Vancouver. Can I land from some other ports or Vancouver is the only choice?

2. Upon my arrival at a Canadian port of entry, I may be asked to provide proof that I hold sufficient funds for settlement in Canada. I wonder this proof can be a bank statement,a credit card or must be deposit certificate, cash or whatever?
