Luckily, my NIW based 485 has been approved after 6-month waiting (VSC), and the green cards (mine, my wife's, and my daughter's) have been mailed to me. Now, I have a few questions:
1. Do we need to change our social security cards? My current SS card, which is based on H1B visa, has the sentence "valid for work only with INS authorization" on it (so does my wife's as well).
2. If it's OK not to inform my employer about getting the green card? In another word, may I keep my current status (H1B) for working (of course, just for a short period) ?
3. Do we need to get our passport stamped at this moment?
4. Is there anything else we need to do
Your advice is highly appreciated, I just don't want to make any mistake.
