one more question on TB

I had a positive TB skin test (PPD) (13 mm) and normal X-ray. This is called Latent TB infection based on I-693 form. Doctor didn't want to give me medication since he thinks my skin test is false positive. But I-693 form says I need to take medication so my question is: will it interfere my application process if I don't take any medication?
