My I-485 approval notice:

回答: 批准通知上有说明的啊 由 Rosalinda 于 2005-05-25 09:49:17

"The above application has been approved.The immigration card facility will mail the alien registratiin card diretly to the applicant in approximately 120 days.
If the new card is not received within this time,please call this office at the number listed below."

The approval notice didn't mention passport stamped,and i got the card after a week of the approval of I-485
