In fact, my situation is just like yours. Even thought I took fingerprint, the message on USCIS site is not updated. Alway shows that ugly number '850-900 days...' (you know what that means).

USCIS updated the message after they approved my application.

I call FBI and FBI told me the result has been sent back to USCIS. You can find FBI phone on this forum.
