H-1B visa help, urgent!

Dear Friends, I have got my 2006 H-1B approved (starting on 10/1/2005), when can I go to Canada for visa stamp? will the immigration office have a specific time frame that allows you enter US? I am in US now, and I want to go back to China for visit.
