J1 extension and J1 waiver: 特例

按照前人经验，在J1 waiver 审批期间将J1延期至最长3年+6月。已拿到新的DS2019表，几乎同时从DOS网上查到recommendation letter for J1 waiver 已送出（尚未收到）。现在的问题是：刚从international office 得知，如果已经递交J1 waiver 申请的话，这最后的6月是不能被延长的（反之，如果延长这最后的6月，就不能办J1 waiver）。但事先并不知此情况。而且，international office 已发放DS2019表，也不好收回。所以我现在是既拿到了这最后的6月延期，又即将拿到J1 waiver. 尽管本人并无过失，但觉得如果这最后的6月延期不那么合法的话，是否会对以后事情（如转H1及办绿卡）有影响？请哪位有经验的大侠指点，不甚感谢！
