Before filing for 485, what was your status? While your 485 was pending, did you maintain that status? Did you get your H1b before getting a divorce?

Technically speeking, your 485 application would have been terminiated after you got a divorce. If you obtained H1 before you were officially divorced, and you used the H1 to work, then you can maintain your H1 even if the 485 is terminated.
