Fingerprint of Imm to Canada

My hu*****and and I did fingerprint and we got the police certificate from FBI for immigration to Canada last year. At that time, he would be the principle applicant. But we didn't file the application. Right now, I will be the principle applicant, can we use the old fingerprint and the police certificate from FBI to file the application?
