what should i use--

i am now working in the university with h1 visa, and i have EAD card too. just last week i got an offer from one company. i would like to ask people here --should i ask the company to transfer h1 visa for me so that i can work in the company with new h1 visa, or i should just use my EAD card without H1 transfer? my hu*****and is the main applyer for green card, and his I-140/485 still pending...
