Wor for None-Profit Hospital

I am getting one IT offer from one none-profitable healthcare organization. I will try to ask them to sponsor my H1B. I have heard that none-profit organization not count H1B cap, if true, It will be good chance for me on negotiation with them.
Any one has exp or comment on it?
