来美只有五年，通过工作机会，拿到绿卡并成为公民了。

一次偶然的机会，遇到一个在美五年的中国人，知道人家已经成了公民了。不免惊讶，一问，人家并没有通过结婚拿绿卡，而是在美读书，然后工作时，通过公司办了绿卡，现在已经是公民了。我怎么也想不通，一般绿卡拿到后要等五年才能成为公民没错吧？那她速度怎么会这么快哦？
