In you case ,probable you will get the 20000 quota.it seems that you grace period will end in july.then don not be so worried. wait and send out your 2006 applicaion as late as possible (be sure the uscis received the application before your grace period get expired) I don not think the 20000 quota will be so late to open to us. My laywer is very sure( i don not know why he is so sure) that the 200000 quota will be available in May. so my guess is even the 20,000 quota is still available when you file the 2006 application but probably it will be availabe during your case is pending( if you do good timing, I think that will be late June).be sure when you file your applicaiton don not use the 加速。 otherwise you probable will get the H1b approved before you can amend to the 20,000 quota.
