Question about immigrate to CA

I have been applying for my family renuion to Canada from USA. My doctor filed my medical form to the NY consulate, but the officer from Toronto informed us the he has forwarded my application to the Buffalo Consulate. Should I contact with them about this? Or they will conatct each other by themselvese. It is very hard to get through them by phone.
