Well, you should return to Canada before Jan 2003. If you return at that time, immigration Canada will dismiss your return permit. You can go back to USA after you re-landing. However, you didn't do it. This is the key problem. You my try to drive to canada or ask a friend in Canada drive you back to Canada.But you need a canadain licence(plate). If you try to drive a US licence, you will get a lot questions on the boarder. Then try to see if you are lucky enough. If you can get into Canada, you still have a lot work to do.
