H4 and EAD. Is it right?

Dear Mr Fan, I am a H4 visa holder. I got the EAD card based on my hu*****and NIW and I-485 application. I am working in a lab now. I have a question: If my hu*****and's NIW is rejected, will I be out of status and have to reuturn China to get H4 visa again? Thank you very much.
