about changing address

hello everyone,

I (H1B) have a question about changing address. Last December I moved out my old apartment and to a new place in the city (boston).

I heard that we have to inform somewhere about this,

do we have to do this? confused. one of my friend told me they don't require this anymore. Does anyone have any update on this?
