My friend with H1B does?

Thanks a lot. I got one copy of my friend's(H1B at that time)I140 form, and I saw there a number with 8 digits in A# blank. She got GC in 2002, but she applyed GC in 2001. So I am a little confused, to my knowledge, I just know what you said, you have A# if you have GC. Strange???
