I-94 1year confusing..

Greeting...

I used Advanced Parole go back to China last June.
(I am in I-485 pending status, EB2, employer based, I140 approved)
When I came back to the U.S. on 07/02/2004, I got a I-94 with exipration: 07/01/2005.

Question1
1. My parents will go to ShangHia to get visa to visit us.
Does the I-94 exipration date(07/01/2005) will impact them to get visa in China?
if so, what should I do about it?

Question 2
1. Do I need do anyting here(in the U.S.) myself before the I-94 expiration date(07/01/2005)?
if so, what should I do?

It is really confusing that I am waiting for my I485 approve, and my I-94 only give me one year.
Please advise, appreciate your help!
