I485-FBI name check error?!

I went for my I485 interview (from F1 to temp.green card based on marriage) last December. The interview was very easy and smooth, the visa office told us that my application has no problem, EXCEPT that my FBI name check is "error". She told me to just go home and wait. I am still waiting...and waiting... My EAD and advance parole are valid till June this year, I need to travel very often for work, so I am really not sure if I should simply keep waiting! I will lose my job if things continue to be like this!!!
Is there ANYTHING that I can do to expedite the FBI name check thing?!
Please, pls, HELP!!!
