passport stamp question

I received the 485 approval notice and have scheduled an appointment in late March, however, my lawyer told me that I should bring two copies of 485 to the interview. One copy that I have received, one copy that lawyer received. Lawyer claimed that their copy should be the original copy; mine is the courtesy copy from CIS. Unfortunately, lawyer told me that they have not received the copy yet. Is it true that I need two copy at the interview? Is there any remedies for this situation?
