Fingerprint 能提前去吗？

I got my FP notice yesterday and it was scheduled by USCIS to the middle of April. Can I just walk in the field office before that time and have the FP done one month earlier? This may save me one month for waiting.

If this can be done, what is the disadvantage to my case? My I-140 has already been approved.
