H4 to H1, emgency, please help

I was in H1 status and lost my job a year ago, now I am in H4 status.

When a new company wants to sponsor me a new H1 status, do I have to show thier HR people my previous H1.

I only want to show them my current H4 which started 2 month ago, since I told them I just lost my job 3 month ago, is this OK.
