I-485VSC to local office

My I-485 was filed June 2003 after I140 aproved in VSC. In Oct 2004, It was transfered to Local office (Boston), finger print Sep,2004.

From the VSC processing date, I485 was prcessed to Oct,2004. Why my case was delayed? All my friends who file GC at similar time, they got already. Will my I485
be forgoten by them? Should I file another I140? worried!
