no records when leaving US?

I'm a Canadian PR. I went to US by visitor visa last month. When I left US for Canada, I didn't find any records they left on me. So I suppose they couldn't know how long time actually I stayed in US. Or they have a internal system?

Anyone here knows it? Please inform. Thanks so much.
