I think your case is very normal. your will wait 5-6 months for the interview. but as long as you keep your job, it will not be a problem to pass the interview. you can ask your layer to go with you , maybe you need to pay extra money. But sometimes the immigration officer can reject your application with unreasonable or even illegal excuse, then your lawyer can argue with them at the secene, otherwise your may need to appeal which will take several months.
