寄护照给加移民局，4个月没消息，怎么办？

2004年8月收到移民局来信，说审查结束，要寄胡照给它，9月底将护照寄出，到现在也不见寄回来，我现在在日本，等着护照延期，给移民局写信，发传真都杳无音讯，真是又气又急，请那位高人给支个招，在此谢了
