It seems like that the ins officer have some problem of the creditbility of your claim of "top university",
TOP 3 university? It is kind of not well defined, if you are not in Harvard, Yale or MIT, you would better take it off. Apparently the INS officer do not like and believe the TOP 3 story, so he has a kind of attitude to your case already. To be honest, I believe you are totally qulify for NIW, just a little bit unlucky. If you don't want to appeal and you can file another NIW again. and remember fire your current lawer
