没事. 我2003年也有半年身份过期, 一天都没上学. 我到了LA 后那新的I-20去移民局签的, 问了我3个小时. 最后还是那到了. 别担心,让你的IA 帮你写一分信,应该没问题. 我当时具体如下: in order)
1, I-539 form
2, a Letter form your school with explain
3, a letter from you, tell the reason, what is your grade and so on. let officer know you are good student.
4, new I-20 and all of old I -20s.
5, get new term tuition receipt and all of your transcripts.
all letter should be professional, you need dress up and good oral... Let them know that is northing, have to reinstatement. Good luck.
